Kingcase church is located in Waterloo road near the South boundary of what was the Burgh of Prestwick, just off the main (A79)Prestwick/Ayr road

The main landmarks (which obscure the church from the main road) are the "Centrum" ice rink and a supermarket.

To the immediate south of Prestwick is the County town of Ayr, both towns are now within the local authority administrative district of "South Ayrshire"

Prestwick, which lies on the coast, is probably best known now for it's three golf courses, the airport and it's proximity to the "Burns Country"

Lesser known aspects of the town are it's bowling clubs, swimming pool, cricket team and tennis courts

Prestwick can lay claim to four Church of Scotland "Kirks", an Episcopal Church and a Roman Catholic Church plus a few other small denominational groups
